So cute!  Of course, I doubt the kids will eat them.  I made a real Bento box lunch for a picnic I’m hoping to have today (we’ll see what sort of mood Bibs is in when I pick her up), including using my rice molds and my egg molds.  The egg molds didn’t come out great (I think I put the egg in the star the wrong way, and the heart is a bit lopsided, but I’ve read on other Bento blogs that these take some practice.

The top layer has prune slices, teddy bears made of rice mixed with soy sauce and decorated with cheese and raisins, leftover macaroni, carrots cut as stars, and a hardboiled egg on a bed of lettuce.  The bottom layer (ie the one that the kids will actually eat) has cantaloupe, a muffin quarter, pretzel sticks, and a licorice scottie.
